Corey Lirette

Head Coach | Offensive Coordinator | Quarterbacks

Coach Lirette enters 2026 in his 5th year as Offensive Coordinator, 4th as Quarterbacks coach and 1st season as full time Head Coach. Corey took over the role while rehabbing from surgery in the 2022 pre-season after the position became available, and retired as a player in the 2022 post-season in order focus on coaching for the Mustangs full time.

Corey is a 2x league all-star as a player on the offensive line, and 2021 Co-OL of the Year. He has won 4 championships as a player, and 2 as a coach. Coach Lirette currently owns the league record for most points-per-game scored, averaging 50.8 ppg back in his rookie season as OC.

Following the retirement of Head Coach Jason Terris prior to the 2025 season, Corey accepted a position in the newly formed Leadership Group alongside assistant Head Coach Chris Gaines and defensive coordinator Tyler Cameron to oversee the team for 2025. Corey was then named Interim Head Coach before the 2025 season opener, and was chosen as the full time Head Coach in the 2026 offseason.

Chris Gaines

Assistant Head Coach | Linebackers

2026 will be Coach Gaines' 10th season as LB coach and 5th as the Assistant HC. Chris has 5 championships as a coach and 3 as a 2x MFL All-Star Offensive Guard. He also currently coaches at Riverview High School.

Following the retirement of Head Coach Jason Terris prior to the 2025 season, Chris accepted a position in the newly formed Leadership Group alongside offensive coordinator Corey Lirette and defensive coordinator Tyler Cameron to oversee the team for 2025. Chris continues to serve as Assistant Head Coach after Coach Corey Lirette was selected as Head Coach.

Tyler Cameron

Defensive Coordinator | Defensive Backs

Coach Cameron will be returning to the role of defensive coordinator for the 2026 season. Tyler is currently the defensive coordinator for the 2022/2023/2025 provincial champion Riverview High School Royals. Tyler is hoping for similar success in his 4th season as the head man of the defense in 2026.
